What SPF does
SPF is a TXT record listing the servers allowed to send email using your domain. Receiving servers compare the sending server against that list.
A domain must publish exactly one SPF record. Two records make SPF fail entirely, which is one of the most common email deliverability mistakes.
A healthy SPF record
It starts with v=spf1, includes every service that sends on your behalf, and ends in ~all or -all. Keep the number of DNS lookups it triggers under ten.
